These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the learning support and summary app "SummariseAI" (hereinafter referred to as "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and the provider of this App (hereinafter referred to as "Developer").

Article 2 (Conditions of Use & Purpose)

This App aims to support users' learning and information organization by using AI technology to summarize text/voice/image data, create quizzes, generate flashcards, etc.

• AI outputs are generated via external services, so accuracy, completeness, and currency are not guaranteed.
• For important decisions (medical, legal, financial, life-critical matters, etc.) or exam preparation, please ensure to check primary sources yourself.
• Users use this App at their own responsibility, and the Developer is not responsible for any disadvantages caused by AI errors.

Article 3 (Features & External Services)

This App is provided using the following features and technologies:

• AI Generation: Text summarization, quiz generation, and dialogue using Generative AI technology.
• Voice Recognition: Transcription using speech recognition engines.
• Image Recognition: OCR from camera or image library.
• Data Storage/Analysis: Data management and usage analysis using cloud platforms.
• Backend Processing: API processing using serverless technology.
• Ads: Ad delivery via third-party providers.

Article 4 (Prohibitions)

The following acts are prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, modification, or duplication of this App.
• Unauthorized redistribution or commercial use of this App.
• Acts that place excessive load on servers or external APIs.
• Using AI to process data that infringes copyrights, personal info, public order, or illegal content.
• Exploiting vulnerabilities or using unauthorized means to access paid features.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

• AI responses, summaries, and transcriptions are automatically generated and 100% accuracy is not guaranteed.
• The Developer is not responsible for recovery or damages if user data (text, voice, image) is lost due to unexpected system failures.
• We are not responsible if App functions become temporarily unavailable due to failures of external services.

Article 6 (Changes/Termination)

The Developer may change specifications, add/remove features, or suspend the service without notice.

Article 7 (In-App Purchases & Subscriptions)

• Paid Plans: Users can purchase subscriptions to unlock features.
• Payment: Purchases are made via Apple App Store and charged to your Apple ID.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Refunds/Restore: Refunds are generally not provided. Subscriptions can be restored on the same Apple ID.
• Management: Cancellation must be done via App Store settings; deleting the App does not cancel subscriptions.
