These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the Local LLM Chat App "Private AI" (hereinafter referred to as "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms apply to all relationships between the user and the App provider (hereinafter referred to as "Developer").

Article 2 (Conditions and Purpose)

• The purpose of this App is to provide secure text generation and dialogue using AI (Local LLM) that runs on the user's device, even in an offline environment.
• The accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of AI-generated outputs are not guaranteed. For matters requiring important judgment or specialized knowledge, please verify the primary information yourself.
• Users shall use the App at their own responsibility, and the Developer is not liable for any disadvantages caused by AI errors.

Article 3 (Features and External Platforms)

• AI Generation: Text generation and chat features using generative AI technology that runs entirely on the device.
• Model Download: AI models used in the App are downloaded from external platforms such as "Hugging Face" to the user's device. Communication costs incurred are the responsibility of the user. Additionally, large model files will consume device storage.
• Third-Party Licenses: Users must comply with the license terms (e.g., Llama 3 License, MIT License) applicable to individual AI models used through the App.
• Advertising: Display of ads by third-party providers (during free use, etc.).

Article 4 (Prohibitions)

• Reverse engineering, modification, or duplication of the App.
• Unauthorized redistribution or commercial use of the App.
• Using AI to generate data that infringes on third-party copyrights, personal information, content contrary to public order and morals, or illegal content.
• Exploiting vulnerabilities or using paid features through unauthorized means.

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

• App Crashes: Local LLMs place a high load on device memory and processing power. Depending on the environment and device specs, the App may crash unexpectedly. The Developer is not liable for lost chat history or damages.
• External Services: The Developer is not liable if model provision is suspended due to failures or spec changes of external platforms (e.g., Hugging Face).
• Data Loss: The Developer is not liable for data recovery or damages if data is lost due to device failure, App deletion, or unexpected system errors.

Article 6 (Changes/Termination)

The Developer may change specs, add/delete features, or suspend service without notice.

Article 7 (In-App Purchases/Subscription)

• Paid Plans: Subscriptions can unlock features and remove ads.
• Payment: Payments are processed via Apple's terms and charged to the Apple ID.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
• Refunds: The Developer does not provide direct refunds, as per Apple's regulations.
• Management: Users must handle cancellations themselves; deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Interpretation of these Terms is governed by Japanese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court governing the Developer's location.
