These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the Blue Library App (hereinafter referred to as "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
Article 1 (Applicability)
These Terms apply to all users of the App (hereinafter referred to as "Users") and the developer of the App.
Users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms upon installing or using the App.
Article 2 (Purpose)
This App is provided for the purpose of comfortably viewing copyright-expired literary works published by Aozora Bunko.
This App is intended for personal use and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
Article 3 (Overview of Functions)
- Viewing of works using Aozora Bunko text data
- Reading auxiliary functions such as markers and bookmarks
- Acquisition of setting data using Firebase
Article 4 (Copyright)
- The text data of literary works that can be distributed and viewed in this App uses copyright-expired works published by Aozora Bunko (https://www.aozora.gr.jp/) or works licensed for publication in Aozora Bunko.
- The copyright of the program, design, functions, etc., of this App belongs to the developer.
- When using Aozora Bunko data, we comply with Aozora Bunko's "Criteria for handling files included in Aozora Bunko".
Article 5 (Prohibitions)
The following acts are prohibited:
- Reverse engineering, modification, duplication, or redistribution of the App
- Extracting and redistributing Aozora Bunko data from this App
- Using this App for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Sending excessive requests to the App's servers (Firebase, etc.)
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
- This App strives to provide an accurate and comfortable reading experience, but does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information.
- The developer assumes no responsibility for the content, typos, or inconsistencies of data provided by Aozora Bunko.
- The developer assumes no responsibility for any damages or disadvantages caused by the use of this App.
- Setting information may temporarily not be acquired due to failures of external services such as Firebase or networks.
Article 7 (Changes/Termination)
The developer may change the specifications of the App, suspend provision, or change the contents of these Terms without notice.
The modified Terms shall be effective from the time they are announced within the App or on related pages.
Article 8 (Governing Law)
The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by Japanese law.
🔒 Privacy Policy

This App respects user privacy and operates based on the following policy.
1. Information Collected
This App does not collect any personally identifiable information (name, email address, location information, etc.).
However, the following information may be acquired:
- Local data saved within the app such as display settings (saved on device only)
- Minor setting information (URLs and operation parameters) acquired via Firebase Remote Config
2. Use of Firebase
This App uses Firebase Remote Config provided by Google.
This allows us to acquire setting information (such as URL and version settings) to flexibly change the behavior of the App.
- Information collected is anonymized and does not identify individuals.
- Google's privacy policy applies to the use of Firebase Remote Config.
3. Ads & Analytics
At this time, this App does not include any ad delivery or access analysis functions.
4. Communication
Communication may occur when acquiring setting data via Firebase Remote Config, but no other data transmission is performed.
5. Third-Party Provision
This App will not provide user information to third parties unless required by law.
6. Data Retention Period
Data such as app settings and reading history are all saved on the device.
When you delete the App, this data is also deleted from the device.
7. Revisions
The content of the Privacy Policy may be revised as necessary.
